Hoshi, real name Kwon Soonyoung, is from one of South Korea boy group called SEVENTEEN. He is performance team's leader and is one of the choreographers of their team. Hoshi trained under PLEDIS Entertainment for 4 years and debuted at 2015 along with his 12 members. He is often called a tiger and a hamster by his fans because of his dual personality on and off stage. His other nickname, 10:10, was created because his eyes resembles the hands of a clock pointing at 10 minutes and 10 hours.

During his journey of career as one of SEVENTEEN member, he made 2 sub-unit debut along with his groupmates. SVT Leaders were his first sub-unit, consisting of the 3 leaders in their representative group units, they released a song called 'Change Up' with his fellow members, S.Coups and Woozi on September 24th, 2017. In 2018, he made another sub-unit debut with his fellow 2 members, Seungkwan and DK. With the name of the group BooSeokSoon, they promoted there first single, 'Just Do It' on March 21, 2018.

His admiration soon turned into his passion to create his own designs inspired by these houses. He had the opportunity to go to one of a prestigious university in England to study architecture and is now a freelance professional.

While learning English in Britain, he became fond of the language and it sparked a new interest in him, which is to write. Everytime he has time in his hands, Hoshi likes to write books, novels, short stories, or anything that comes to his mind. A couple of his books got published, earning him many awards as an established author.
